Moving your broadband

Moving house can be both exciting and stressful, but there is no need for your broadband service to be disrupted. We've got a team dedicated to help you transfer your broadband so that it’s ready to go on the day you move in to your new place.

When you move your broadband with Eclipse you:

  • Keep your existing Eclipse email address and profiles
  • Don't pay any additional set-up or transfer fees1

To ensure that your broadband service is up and running from the day you move in, you need to:

  • Contact BT and let them know you want to move your telephone line and broadband to your new address
  • Go to My Eclipse, log into the Connection Manager and follow the Moving House link.

To save you time

Before you call us, ensure you have:

  • Your new address details,
  • Moving-out and moving-in dates
  • The date your phone is due to go live.
  • You'll also need to enter your BT Order Matching Reference and select the Eclipse service you want to receive at your new property.

Please note that we need at least six working day’s notice to ensure that your connection is transferred seamlessly from your old address to your new property.

Not an Eclipse customer yet?

No problem! To limit the disruption to you we recommend that you switch your broadband service to us at your existing home well in advance of you move. Then when you do do move house you'll be able to take advantage of our great broadband home movers process and dedicated team to ensure that your broadband is one less thing to worry about.

The legal bit about Moving Home

1. Applies for customers on a monthly contract only. Those customers who are currently within a 12 month contract will be charged for the remainder of their contract.

A Property Move Fee will be chargeable if we agree to transfer your services to a new address and you are still within your minimum contract term for your broadband service.
