Business fibre broadband
faster with assured throughput
Western Security Systems Ltd - an NSI Gold accredited family run business who install and maintain intruder alarms, fire alarms and CCTV systems - has become one of Eclipse’s first customers of our newest product: super-fast fibre broadband.
The trial has been so successful, the company now feel confident to recommend Eclipse fibre to their customers.
Simon Outing, Operations Director of Western Security Systems first came to Eclipse in 2004 after his previous provider went bust. His online research showed Eclipse to be reliable, with good customer performance and excellent testimonials.
Recently, BT approached the company offering a fibre service, which was trialled alongside Eclipse’s product. Simon says “Both services gave us very good speeds which has transformed our back office efficiency, but Eclipse once again showed itself as the better overall package. The customer care offered by Eclipse hugely surpasses that of other ISPs. I know I can get the answer I need from Eclipse within a couple of minutes. With other providers I’ve spent more than an hour on the phone needing help, even as a business customer.”
The very fast upload speeds offered by Eclipse's fibre broadband has also inspired Simon to recommend the product to a segment of his clients.
“Many of our customers choose to watch their CCTV network remotely, online, which means we have often been in a situation where we can advise our customers to choose a broadband connection with Eclipse. But as CCTV monitoring relies on UPLOAD speeds rather than download, Eclipse Fibre will be a better solution for many. Now that I have trialled the product in the offices here, I feel confident in recommending it to these customers - and able to tell them we get around 10Mbps up-speed in our own Eclipse Fibre connection.”
Eclipse Fibre offers Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) which delivers high upload and download speeds - five times faster than existing standards. What’s more, Eclipse Fibre and Fibre Pro have an assured throughput of up to 12Mbps.
“This marks the beginning of the next generation of services from Eclipse,” said Clodagh Murphy, director of Eclipse Internet. “Our Fibre broadband will enable businesses to benefit from increased connection speeds and services including VPN, video conferencing and VoIP.”
