How Data Backup works

The first step is to download our client software onto each PC or laptop you wish to back up.

You then select the data you want to backup, which is encrypted, compressed and sent via your internet connection to multiple secure locations.

All subsequent backups only update this data making it faster and more efficient.

Be more productive with your time by scheduling the time-consuming backup process to happen automatically.

You can schedule your backups at specific times of the day or week, or simple schedule them to run when you log off or shut down your PC.

Choose excatly which files you want to back up, and you also have the option to manually backup critical files whenever you want.

Once you're set up, you can manage your account entirely through the Backup Client.

This will allow you to select your backup settings and preferences - the admin panel gives you the option to add more storage as and when you need it.

Restoring your data

You can easily retrieve and restore your data using our Backup system.  Simply select the "restore" button in your backup client and the files you've backed up will be shown.

If you wish to recover a file, you can do so at the click of a button.  The files you've selected are downloaded and restored to your computer immediately.

What's more if you're an Eclipse customer, retrieving files won't count towards your monthly usage allowance.
